APICS, The Association for Operations Management, is a worldwide professional organization of practitioners with the mission statement: “APICS is the global leader and premier provider of information and services in production and inventory management and related areas to enable members, enterprises, and individuals to add value to their business performance.”

The Indiana State University student APICS chapter is sponsored by the Central Indiana APICS Chapter in Indianapolis. Membership is open to any interested student. Students have the opportunity to work with Central Indiana APICS members in both professional and social situations.

Given the staggering demand for supply management professionals over the next four years (read complete article here), APICS is working hard to reach out to and inform the next generation of supply chain and operations management professionals.

APICS student membership now is FREE, and enables full-time undergraduate and graduate students to network in a community of more than 3,200 other APICS student members. Plus, student members can meet experienced supply chain and operations management professionals and access local training opportunities.
